======DOES IT SUPPORT NETWORK TIME PROTOCOL (NTP)======


**Symptoms:**
  * Does it support Network Time Protocol (NTP)  
  * Would like to use NTP on the 3500 to synchronize time on network devices  
 



**Facts:**
  * CB3500  
  * CoreBuilder 3500  



**Fixes:** Software version 3.0 April '99 will add SNTP - Simple Network Time Protocol - this doesn't have the time server piece like NTP3.

  * You need an external time server.
