======PROCEDURE TO CONFIGURE SYSLOG FOR RAS1500======


It must have: Syslog server (3CDaemon).



  * Ethernet interface: 192.168.1.10/B
  * PC connected by Ethernet interface: 192.168.1.1/B
  * Address pool:
    * Starting address: 10.0.0.1
    * Pool size: 10

**1.**Add a dial-in user:

 
  * **add user jlgm pass jlgm ena yes type login,network,manage**


**2.**Add a 'sink' of syslogs (The sink will be the PC that receives the messages):

  * **add syslog 192.168.1.1 facility log_auth**

**3.** Add the standard UDP port where syslog messages are transmitted

  * **add ip udp 514**

**4.** **Save all**


//Note:The result can be checked by dialing in and looking at the events on the syslog server.//
