  How to Collect a Trace Log File From an AP containing ap.log and other log files. 
  How to Collect the ap-report file from an access point

  Environment:
  ExtremeWireless
  IdentiFi
  All Controllers
  All Access Points
  All Firmware versions

  Procedure:
  Access controller through Web Browser https://<ip_address>:5825
  Click on the "Logs" tab (top of page task options)
  Click on "Traces" from the AP: Logs| "Traces" selection
  Click on Desired AP in Left Hand column
  Click on "Retrieve Traces" button
  This will download a file, with the AP serial number as a name, onto your computer
