======NBX ETHERNET PHONES LOSE TIME======




**Symptoms:** 
  * NBX ethernet phones keep losing time   
  * Phone display has wrong time   
  * IP phones has wrong time  
 


** Facts:** 
  * NBX 100  
  * NBX Operating System  
  * NBX 100 R2_0_7  
  * NBX 1102 Business Phone 10 Mb  
  * NBX Basic Phone  
  * NBX 100 R3_0  
  * NBX Chassis  



 

 
**Causes:** Time is set on phones via multicast packets  
 

 
**Fixes:** This problem should be resolved in NBX 100 version R4.0 Try doing the following: 

**1-** Disable IGMP in all switches 

**2-** Enable IGMP and DVMRP in all routers 

**3-** Reset phone to effect network configuration changes
