HOW TO CHANGE PASSWORD OF SWITCH WX1200

Problem:

Fact:

• Wireless Switch Manager
• Wireless LAN Managed Access Point 2750

Cause: password must be changed for security

Fix: Change Procedure:

1) Enter the following command line; as it's shown in the following:

set enablepass

WX1200# set enablepass
Enter old password: old-password
Enter new password: new-password
Retype new password: new-password
Password changed

2) Enter your current password; as it's shown in the following:

WX1200# set enablepass
Enter old password: old-password
Enter new password: new-password
Retype new password: new-password
Password changed

3) Enter the new authentication credentials

WX1200# set enablepass
Enter old password: old-password
Enter new password: new-password
Retype new password: new-password
Password changed
