Configure Switch A:

[SW5500]change unit-id 1 to 1
[SW5500]set unit 1 name unit1
[SW5500]sysname hello

Configure Switch B:

[SW5500]change unit-id 1 to auto-numbering
[SW5500}set unit 1 name unit2
[SW5500]sysname hello

Configure Switch C:

[SW5500]change unit-id 1 to auto-numbering
[SW5500}set unit 1 name unit3
[SW5500]sysname hello

Configure Switch D:

[SW5500]change unit-id 1 to auto-numbering
[SW5500}set unit 1 name unit
[[SW5500]sysname hello

XRN enable:

[XRN]fabric-port ?
  GigabitEthernet  GigabitEthernet interface

[XRN]fabric-port gi
[XRN]fabric-port GigabitEthernet 1/0/27 e
[XRN]fabric-port GigabitEthernet 1/0/28 e

Note: the lowest unit number is the master

[XRN]change self-unit to auto-numbering
[XRN]quit 
<XRN>fabric save-unit-id
save

Remember the automatic.

[5500-EI]change self-unit to auto-numbering

The one that remains below is the master and is the one that closes the back


The master is the one who has the global configuration of the system, it is important that the unit exists for that reason.


The topology driver is the last of the units usually
