HOW CAN I BLOCK REMOTE PROXY SITE
Symptoms:
- How can I block Remote Proxy site
- Remote proxies not blocked by the Web Site filter
- Specific Remote Proxy site not block by Web Content Filter

Fixes: In order to have the X series Firewall block Remote Proxy sites follow the steps below :
- 1) Enable Web Filter Service (Firewall → Web Filtering)
Note: please make sure the License Status shows Licensed
- 2) Choose the Web Filter Profiles List you wish to modify (the default list is called default) (Firewall → Web Filtering)
- 3) Select Productivity Categories and uncheck the box saying Remote Proxies (by doing this any site falling into the Remote Proxies category will be blocked)
If a specific remote proxy site is still not being blocked, then verify the site by using the Test URL (Firewall → Web Filtering)
