NBX ETHERNET PHONES LOSE TIME
Symptoms:
- NBX ethernet phones keep losing time
- Phone display has wrong time
- IP phones has wrong time
Facts:
- NBX 100
- NBX Operating System
- NBX 100 R2_0_7
- NBX 1102 Business Phone 10 Mb
- NBX Basic Phone
- NBX 100 R3_0
- NBX Chassis
Causes: Time is set on phones via multicast packets
Fixes: This problem should be resolved in NBX 100 version R4.0 Try doing the following:
1- Disable IGMP in all switches
2- Enable IGMP and DVMRP in all routers
3- Reset phone to effect network configuration changes
