PROCEDURE TO INTEGRATE THE OUTLOOK EXPRESS MAIL CLIENT TO THE NBX 100

SETTING UP VOICE MAIL

Lift the handset, press the MSG button, and follow the audible prompts to configure these voicemail features:

  • Password - When your phone is newly installed, the mailbox will not have a password. To prevent anyone else from listening to your messages, you will need to set a password.
  • Name - Your name is used to identify your mailbox to people who call you using the internal user directory.
  • Personal Greeting Recording - Your personal greeting will be heard by callers who connect with your voicemail. Change your greeting as often as necessary to inform your contacts that you will not be at their desk for an extended period, or to inform them that you are on vacation, etc.

To set up your voicemail:

1. Lift the handset and press the MSG (Message) button. You will then be asked to enter a personal password.

2. Enter a 4-10 digit password and press #.

3. Press 1 to save the password or 2 to change it. You will then be asked to record your name.

4. Speak your name and extension clearly into the handset receiver and press #.

Example: Enrique Martínez, extension 200.

5. Press 1 to save your name or 2 to re-record it. You will then be asked to record your greeting.

6. Record your greeting after you have heard the signal and press #.

7. Press 1 to save the greeting or 2 to rerecord it. A voice prompt will check if your voicemail has been successfully set up.
