Questions/Symptoms
SYMPTOM:Client cannot consistently ping another device within the same VLAN. SYMPTOM:Clients experience intermittent connectivity issues. SYMPTOM:Local logbuffer error message: call DRV_L3UC_NH_Malloc error:No resource to add arp entry!g_uiDrvL3ucNhCnt=1024 SYMPTOM:The number of entries in the ARP table is limited to 1024 entries and there are considerably more clients in the network.
Cause
CAUSE:The ARP table is limited to 1024 entries.
Answer/Solution FIX:The ARP table limit for this switch is 1024 entires. Thus if the network environment exceeds that limitation, consider the A-series 5900 platform.
